Welcome to the web pages of our family Pension "Usedlost pod vinohrady (Homestead under Vineyards)", which is most intended for families with children and for wine and bicycle tourism!
The Pension, built in 2007-8 in peasant and viticultural style, is situated in the heart of the Lednice – Valtice area, in the village of Hlohovec. Our pension overlooks a very beautiful panorama of the surrounding landscape, including the Lednice lake system and the Palava Hills.
We offer our clients eight luxurious apartments and three rooms. Each apartment is tailored for two to four persons (a folding bed can be added for a child). Apartments consist of a bedroom and living-room, bath-room and kitchen. Apartments and rooms are furnished with bath & shower, two apartments are furnished with shower only. There are also large balconies attached to two apartments. A cot is a matter of course in our pension. All apartments and rooms are air-conditioned and equipped with LCD TV, DVD player, Radio with CD, Hair dryer and Internet Access. All the apartments are furnished also with a fridge, microwave and large kitchen corner with glass-ceramics hotplates. Rooms feature the same amenities as the suites, except kitchen. They are designed for 2 to 3 guests
Total capacity of the pension is 40 beds.
The Pension has an indoor swimming pool (6x3m) with counter-flow (opened from 8:00am to 7:00pm), glassed-in winter garden, table soccer, playground, sauna (open from season 2012), cycle store and a stylish restaurant with tile stove, where we also serve several original local specialties not taste anywhere else than in Hlohovec! You can gather here with friends and family. The restaurant is full of historical photos, agricultural tools, traditional costumes and many other decorations of the last two centuries. You can hold training sessions, seminars, briefings and various gatherings in the restaurant (capacity for 60 persons). There is also a terrace, suitable for cyclists.
As a part of the pension there is a large car-park (including of seven garages) and extensive garden where one can relax under a pergola with grill. For your kids there is a small playground.
Our pension is tailored as for a family recreation or for an individual stay, agricultural tourism and training seminars.
Our pension is furnished with wooden furniture and timber floor therefore the pets are not welcomed. Thank you for understanding.
There is also an office of our travel agency Czechwinetour, which offers you a number of trips around the Lednice – Valtice area, Southern Moravia and the whole of the Czech Republic, evening programs are available such as visiting a wine cellar with wine tasting and cimbalom music, barbecue and grilling on a spit, participation in traditional cultural activities like a pig roast, vintage celebrations, wine trades, pond fishing and many others.
